Graduated in painting from the Crawford College of Art & Design in 1984. Living and working in Cork, she is currently attending the first year of a two year M.A. by Research in C.C.A.D. Nolan is a studio holder and founder member of the Cork Artists Collective. She will participate in an international residency as part of the C.A.C./ Cork 2005 Artist Residency Programme. Recent exhibitions in 2004 include: Artist as Traveller, Trunk Show, Sirius Arts Centre, Cork, Roscommon Arts Centre. ‘The Raw, Not the Cooked’, Fenton Gallery, Cork. C2 Exhibition, Crawford Municipal Art Gallery, Cork. Solo publications include: ‘Ceist; A Question an Uneasiness of Mind’, and ‘Frieze’.
